1. Platform Definition & Scope of Service
The DEÜ Events Platform ("Platform") is a digital space that brings together event discovery, registration, ticket acquisition and tracking processes for Dokuz Eylül University (DEÜ) students and the wider university community.
2. Acceptance of Terms
All students who use the Platform or participate in events are deemed to have accepted these Terms of Use and related policy documents.
3. User Obligations & Prohibited Conduct
Students using the Platform are obligated to comply with the following principles:
✅ Provision of Accurate Information
Student information and contact details provided during registration must be accurate and up to date.
❌ Prohibition on Unauthorised Transfer & Sharing
Unauthorised transfer or commercial use of personally issued tickets is strictly prohibited.
❌ Prohibition on Security Violations
Automated queries, bot registrations and any interference that compromises the integrity of the platform infrastructure are strictly prohibited.
4. Event Cancellation & Modification Rights
Event organisers reserve the right to make changes to the programme, venue or date, or to cancel an event entirely.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All design, logos, content and infrastructure components on the Platform are protected under applicable legislation. Unauthorised copying or use is prohibited.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Platform provides a digital access interface; all responsibility for the physical content of events organised by third parties rests with the respective organisers.
7. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by Turkish law. In the event of any dispute, the Courts and Enforcement Offices of İzmir shall have jurisdiction.
